The grand book sale

The grand book sale – everything 25% off until the end of 2025.

art.earth Books has some extraordinary books. Most come from our own stable and represent some of the best and most intellectually adventurous writing around their subject. Our editorial process connected with veteran writers as well as people who have never published before and, as always with art.earth, the range of voices is broad.

Titles from art.earth include In Other Tongues, a collection of essays and poetry exploring culture and meaning, superstition and myth and the ineffable; The Ephemeral River, which was the UK’s contribution to the Global Nomadic Art Project (from Yatoo in Korea) showcasing the work of 15 artists in and around the River Dart; Liquidscapes, a watery assembly of essays, poetry, visual word experiment and image; Evolving the Forest with a very broad array of voices exploring trees, ecology and the forest, with a foreword by Sir Harry Studholme; and Borrowed Time: on death, dying & change exploring myriad voices around life and death from human, non-human and planetary perspectives. We also still have a few copies of ROAR, an experimental collection of text art on paper.

Titles from other stables include Focus on Farmers: art and hill farming on Dartmoor and Exmoor, and Soil Culture (from the renowned stable of the Centre for Contemporary Art and the Natural World (CCANW)).

There is a limited stock of many of these titles – indeed, some are quite precious.  But like all books they should not simply sit on our shelves and should instead be enjoyed and shared. Some are now out of print but where possible we have offered an eBook version of the original print version. All are richly richly illustrated – one of the things that makes our books quite expensive to produce and therefore to buy. For most titles, when they become out of print we offer an eBook version and these are all on sale as well.

Until the end of 2025 we are offering an across-the-board discount of 25% on all our publications (except Peter Ward’s book). All you need to do is browse our mind-expanding catalogue, add publications to. your basket and enter 25off as a coupon on the checkout page.
